maytag neptune washing machine had it's problems for years there have been some improvements like with the door boot( THE RUBBER AROUND THE FRONT OPENING)the one that get smelly and mildew from time ti time,there have been some improvements,but as far as the electronics are concerned i'm not so sure.
The latest design of this machine is pretty to look at but this customer of mine had this machine for twelve months and two weeks and the computer control has already burnt out,and this control is not cheap, with shiping and tax this control can set you back about three hundred dollars, and thats for the parts alone the labour to install it is not yet added,
so before you buy your next washing machine, don't think about all that fancy lights and stuff,think about what it will cost to repair in the near future,
